Kerry McArthur and Mark Wolfe are the couple behind Skimmerhorn Productions, a production company located in Creston, BC. 🎥
With a focus on dark drama films, this duo likes to delve into work characterized by a cynical tone, complex plots, and often explore themes of morality, fate, and the darker aspects of human nature.
🎬Skimmerhorn released The Orchard in 2022 – a dark drama feature currently in distribution with Bayview Entertainment and streaming on Tubi, Prime Video, Fandango and Roku platforms.
🎬Exophoria, a sequel to the Orchard premieres at the Tivoli Theatre in Creston April 27, starring all local actors – including the inimitable Lynne Karey-Mckenna.
🎞️Skimmerhorn’s interest in the dark drama genre fueled these independent film/media scholars to spearhead the Bleeding Tree International Film Festival, now in its second year and taking place May 2-4 at the Tivoli Theatre in Creston, BC.
