We’re excited to shine a light on Kootenay filmmaker E.K. Braffet, whose debut feature “Mile 15” was shot in the region earlier this year. With a bold visual style and an instinct for grounded, character-driven storytelling, Braffet is becoming a voice to watch in the local film scene.
Mile 15 follows an intimate road trip journey set against the backdrop of the Kootenays. From concept to production, Braffet led a passionate team of emerging creators, many of them from right here in the region.
